Evidence Based Birth® Childbirth

When taking the Evidence Based Birth® Childbirth Class, you and your partner will learn the evidence for your birth options in an online class format with other parents who are navigating their perinatal journey. Whether your intentions are for hospital, home, birth center, medicated, unmedicated, cesarean, or VBAC birth; the skills learned in this class will empower you to make decisions that that are right for your family.

When you take the Evidence Based Birth® Childbirth Class, you will:

• Learn and receive mentorship in the comfort of your own home.

• Become acquainted with evidence-based care, comfort measures, and advocacy.

• Gain confidence in evaluating information to help you sift through options for your care.

• Become empowered!

 

What is included in this Childbirth Class?

Registration includes weekly Zoom video chats with your instructor, access to the online curriculum and bonus material on the Evidence Based Birth® Parents Portal. You will also have access to a library with informative videos & PDFs with the most up to date evidence on topics like eating/drinking during labor, due dates, Vitamin K, and more plus birth videos.

Outline:

October 6th Meeting: Orientation (1.5 – 2 hours)

October 13th Meeting: Evidence Based Care (1 hour)

October 20th Meeting: Comfort & Advocacy 101 (1 hour)

October 27th Meeting: Comfort & Advocacy 201 (1 hour)

November 3rd Meeting: Interventions & Birth Plans (1.5 hour)

November 10th Meeting: The 4th Trimester & the Rehearsal (2 hours)

Registration:

Register by clicking the link  (group or private) above or contact me at shanthepartera@gmail.com to pay via Zelle. When registering from the group class link above, select one of the available Sundays and you will be registered for all of the class dates. Group classes are $300. Private classes are $375. Ticket price includes digital workbook, online curriculum access, live meetings access, and 3-month EBB Parent Portal access for 1 birthing person and 1 support person (of their choice). A 3-month extension for access to EBB Parent Portal is available at an additional charge of $25.

Refund Policy: Your payment reserves a spot in the class and is non-refundable.

Additional FAQs:

Birth professionals: Childbirth educators, doulas, lactation consultants, etc. desiring to attend this class must request to purchase an audit ticket. Limited seat per session.

Class size: Class size is limited to 6 couples.

Discounts: Reduced fees for group classes are available to Medicaid recipients.
