ABOUT SHAN

As a born and raised native of the Washington, DC metropolitan area, it is important to me to serve the people of this locale. Since 2014, I have served as a childbirth doula to families in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.

Currently, I continue to serve as an Evidence Based Birth Educator and a birth assistant as well as a child birth doula with limited availability, as I complete my studies at Mercy In Action, College of Midwifery and my clinical apprenticeship with Shifrah's Sisters. I am also a newly appointed member of the Maryland Department of Health's Maternal Mortality Review Team. In my spare time, I️ spend as much time as possible with my four children.
