Welcome to my new site. Some of you may know me better by Shannon Your Doula. I've attended over 500 births and offered women's health education for over 12 years under that name. I have recently retired as a doula and will no longer be taking new clients as I wrap up my clinical requirements to offer midwifery services after I pass my NARM (board exam). In the mean time, I hope you will allow me to be a part of your perinatal health journey through women's health education, perinatal education, and birth consultation. Allow me to share the wealth of knowledge I've gained through professional experience by enrolling in a class with me or signing up for one of my consultation sessions. I look forward to working with you!

Where to even begin? I can’t say enough about Shannon. I came to her looking for help with a possible VBA2C. She assured me it was possible and empowered me to do some research in order to find a practitioner that would support my choices. She walked me through the journey one week at a time, with tips for everything from nutrition, to exercise, to state of mind. I always felt comfortable reaching out to her with questions and she checked in with me periodically. As the due date came and went, she encouraged me to try a few last tricks to get labor going naturally…and they worked! My beautiful baby boy was born vaginally 6 hours before his scheduled C-section. Shannon labored with us at home and went to the hospital with us. Throughout the labor process, her soft voice and calm demeanor helped me bear the pain. I am 100% sure we would not have had the outcome we were looking for without Shannon’s help. I wish I would have found her sooner!
